Function and Structure

When an area of our body no longer performs as it should, other areas will compensate. We develop relieving postures and intuitively avoid confronting the pain.

If this pattern remains over a long period of time we often forget about the original source of our discomfort or the effects of our acquired habits. Our inner and outer stance is off balance; the structure of our body changes. Should that be the case, it’s wise to work on the body as a whole.
